Baja Designs 2017-2023 KTM 150 / 250 / 300 / 350 / 500 KTM XL80 Headlight Kit (DC)

The Baja Designs 2017-2023 KTM 150 / 250 / 300 / 350 / 500 KTM XL80 Headlight Kit (DC) is a direct replacement headlight upgrade engineered to dramatically improve nighttime visibility on compatible KTM motorcycles. Featuring the powerful XL80 LED light, this kit delivers exceptional illumination with broad vertical and horizontal coverage, making it ideal for trail riding and demanding off-road conditions.

Designed with ample adjustability, the XL80 utilizes a pre-installed Trail Lens that enhances near- and mid-field visibility while maintaining excellent long-range illumination. Installation is as simple as replacing the factory headlight using the included plug-and-play connector and mounting hardware, while an integrated 20% dimming feature adds versatility for changing riding conditions.

Built with Baja Designs' advanced lighting technologies and premium construction, this headlight kit provides dependable performance, outstanding durability, and confidence for riders tackling technical terrain after dark.

Features

• Direct Replacement Design: Replaces the factory headlight with minimal installation effort.
• XL80 LED Output: Produces 9,022 lumens of forward illumination.
• Pre-Installed Trail Lens: Optimized for technical off-road riding.
• 20% Dimming Feature: Adds lighting flexibility for varying conditions.

Lighting Performance

The XL80 delivers 9,022 lumens through a Spot beam pattern enhanced by a factory-installed Trail Lens. This combination provides outstanding long-range visibility while expanding the beam to improve near- and mid-field illumination for first through fourth gear technical riding.

The Trail Lens increases both vertical and horizontal light spread, making it easier to navigate tight turns, steep transitions, ridges, valleys, and challenging terrain during nighttime rides.

Direct Replacement Design

This kit is engineered as a true drop-in replacement for the factory headlight on compatible KTM motorcycles. The included plug-and-play connector and mounting hardware simplify installation while maintaining a clean factory appearance.

An optional Baja Designs 12-9016 Hi/Low Harness is available for motorcycles equipped with a factory high/low beam switch, allowing the original bar switch to retain its hi/low functionality. The high beam indicator will remain illuminated when used with the Baja Designs Hi/Low KTM relay harness.

Construction and Technology

The XL80 incorporates Baja Designs' ClearView, MoistureBlock, CopperDrive, and uService technologies. The light features a hard anodized and powder-coated cast aluminum housing, hard-coated polycarbonate lens, stainless steel mounting hardware, and built-in overvoltage protection for dependable long-term performance.

The housing exceeds MIL-STD-810G durability testing, is IK10 impact resistant, and carries an IP69K rating for water resistance and pressure-wash capability.
