Moose Offroad Universal Heavy-Duty Tie-Downs

The Moose Offroad Universal Heavy‑Duty Tie‑Downs are a set of rugged, 1‑inch webbing straps designed for everyday use on trailers, truck beds, and racks, giving riders a simple, no‑frills way to keep motorcycles, UTVs, ATVs, and gear locked down during transport. Built as a universal cargo strap solution, they pair strong rubber‑coated hooks with a reliable cam‑buckle system so loads stay tight through bumps and hard braking.

These Moose Offroad Universal Heavy‑Duty Tie‑Downs use 6‑foot‑long, 1‑inch‑wide nylon webbing printed with the Moose Utility Division logo for easy identification at the shop or on the trail. Each strap terminates in two oversized, high‑strength rubber‑coated hooks that grip anchor points without slipping, while the cam‑buckle mechanism lets users quickly tension and release the strap with one hand. The design is built for frequent loading cycles, making it a solid choice for trail days, motocross rigs, and general utility hauling.

Moose Offroad (About)

Our story starts in the mid 1980’s in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. The question in those days was how to prepare for an ever changing ride but for a core group of offroad riders it was a question of how, and out of their passion came a small offering of hard parts that would put Moose Offroad on the map. What they didn’t know was their desire to make the ride unforgettable would turn into a worldwide force of the finest collection of parts and gear for them and their machine.

In the early 1990’s, visionary Wayne Cornelius came along with distribution giant Parts Unlimited. Wayne knew Moose Offroad was good but he had a desire to make it great. His method to reach that goal was to consult the services of 8-time National Enduro Champion Dick Burleson. Utilizing Burleson’s experience the goal was to design gear that was comfortable to ride in all day rather than a 20 minute moto. That concept was launched in 1994 at the ISDE in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where a team of World-class riders emblazoned in new gear they served notice that Moose Racing has arrived on the scene.

As the 90’s continued, Moose Racing became the go to for hard parts but gear was the avenue to get brand recognition as it performed better than anything else in the market. This strategy blanketed races from the deserts in the west to the steamy woods of the GNCC with Moose Racing gear. It hasn’t been all offroad however, Moose Racing has been a staple of motocross as well. Moose Offroad is proud of its support for racers and riders at all levels from the bright lights of Supercross to the 8am races in the GNCC. Today, Moose Offroad continues the vision and strives to stay ahead of the pack, thirty plus years of blood, sweat, and gears has only made us more passionate to push on and keep evolving.
